The child had been repeatedly suffering from this mouth pain for 4 years, but he would refuse to be taken to the dentist to be examined, and, quite apparently, his parents gave in to his stubborn demands.
Professor P Senthilnathan, who’s from the hospital’s Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery said: “The parents first noticed the swelling when the boy was three years old.”
How it took the parents this long to get him checked out, we will never know…
