The lesion was found to contain 526 teeth, to be precise. Whilst not all of these were fully formed teeth, each individual piece contained either a crown, a root, or an enamel coat which indicates that it is part of a tooth.

Doctors also noticed a well-defined 5-inch “bag-like” mass that was removed during surgery in its entirety. Further surgery was also performed to remove the sack-like lesion.
